Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure or suction on the skin.

The silicone cups are compressed and suctioned to the skin, they pull up underlying tissues and bring more blood flow and fluids to the region. Cupping can also soften tissues and make them more flexible and supple and works to relieve deep muscle tension in soft tissue.

Cupping is great for treating some types of scarring, restrictions in fascia, trigger points, chronic pain, fibrotic muscles, and range of motion restrictions.

Sometimes cupping causes marks that look like bruises to the skin. They aren’t usually painful and typically go away within a few days.
